Paying us does not move you up. Not a little, not in a box at the top, not in a "sponsored" row that looks like a result. Listings are ordered by how complete and confident a record is, identically whether a business has paid us nothing or paid us for everything we sell.
How we make money instead
- Upgraded listings. A business can pay for its own page, photos and a followed link. It appears in the same place in results either way.
- Advertising. Clearly labeled slots, including ads for other businesses we operate.
- Nothing else. We do not sell the contact details people give us.
