Built on open data

Listings start from open, permissively licensed place data rather than material scraped from other directories. Attribution is in the footer.

Owners correct the record

Open data goes stale. Claiming a listing lets the person who actually runs the business fix what is wrong or take it down.

Money never moves you up

An upgrade buys a page, photos and a link. It does not buy position. Results stay in the same order for everyone.
